Crandall International can provide your company with closing machines
for friction top cans, lug cover pails and plastic containers with press-on
lids- including plastic pails. These closers are an excellent complement to the Crandall International
fillers.
Closers are available to close metal containers with friction lids of 250 ml (1/2 pint) and larger, and plastic containers with press-on lids at up to 50 containers/minute. The machines are electrically operated and equipped with explosion proof motors to be used with flammable products. Each machine is designed to close a wide range of container sizes.
These machines can be used with filling machines from Crandall International to permit one person to operate both the filling and closing functions in your packaging operation.
Small, table top models are available for applications that require closing only a
few cans.

and manual models. Automatic and semi-automatic models are adjustable for
several size containers, with speeds to 6 pails per minute.
To close plastic pails on the automatic and semi-automatic models, the closing head may be
quickly and easily changed to permit the machine to close either metal or plastic pails, or
both metal and plastic containers.
Machines are available for closing pails and quarter drums on the same line.
Roller Closers are available for closing plastic pails at speeds to 20/min.
