Containers: This machine is designed to be placed on a drum line. It is capable of adjustment for closing 50 kg/16 gallon kegs; plastic 20 liter/25 liter/5 gallon/6 gallon pails; and lug cover 20 liter/25 liter/5 gallon/6 gallon pails. When not using the machine to close pails, the 205 liter/55 gallon containers to pass through with the closing head raised.
Operation:The operator places the lid and moves the container below the closing head, and holds the two
operating buttons while the container is closed. The machine has a roller
conveyor which is constructed to meet existing conveyors, which makes
the container handling easier on a production line.
When filling 205 liter/55gal drums, the closing head is moved up to allow the drums to pass below
the closing head.
Maintenance: The machine is designed to provide the user with long service and minimal maintenance. The standard frame is a tough welded tubular steel with a stainless steel pigment polyurethane coating. The pneumatic system has visual indicators, manual overrides and quick coupler air line connectors to make servicing easier. Critical pneumatic components are inside a protective fiberglass enclosure. The machine is supplied with an illustrated installation / operation / maintenance manual.
Safety: The machines include two-hand-anti-tie-down controls which force the operator to use two hands to operate the machine. Machines include safety controls and have noise reduction appliances to protect workers. Explosion Proof operation makes the machines suited to hazardous locations.
Noise Control: The 'A' level is less than 20 db. The cylinder exhausts through mufflers.
Utilities Required:
Electricity: None.
Compressed Air: 45 liters at 5.6 bar (1.5 cu. ft. at 80 p.s.i.) per container.
Workers Required: One operator is required.
With a single nozzle filler
and CLS-60-PS closer, one operator can fill and close.
Options
Casters: Casters are available if the machine will be moved
frequently.
Cleanliness: Options are available for cleanliness. This includes
a stainless steel frame, guards, and other stainless steel parts.
Conveyors: Conveyors may be added to the machine.
