The FCLW model is not designed for closing heavy duty plastic pails with press-on
lids.

OPERATION
The containers enter the machine on the motorized table top container with the lids
on top. As the containers pass below the powered roller, the lids are pressed onto
the container. The closed containers exits the machine.
INSTALLATION:
The machine is shipped assembled. It must be placed in its operating position,
and connected to the electric source.
CHANGE OF CONTAINER:
The closing wheel height is adjusted by a rack and gear system. If the automatic lid placer is
included, the assembly is adjusted by a jack system.
MAINTENANCE:
The machine has a heavy duty welded steel frame. The standard paint
is a stainless steel pigment polyurethane coating which is approved
by the U.S.D.A. for use in food plants. The construction is open so
that it can be easily cleaned.
An illustrated installation/ operation /maintenance manual is included.
The regular maintenance includes lubrication of moving parts, and
regularly cleaning the machine.
SAFETY:
The machine is intended to be operated without a worker at the machine. The fractional
horsepower motor is explosion proof. The machine
is Explosion Proof in standard design.
NOISE CONTROL:
The 'A' level is less than 20 db at 1 meter.
UTILITIES REQUIRED:
Electric: Less than 5 amps at start-up.
Pneumatic: None. If the automatic lid placer is included, it will require
less than 30 liters/1 cu. ft. per minute at 5 bar/80 p.s.i. per minute.
PERSONNEL REQUIRED:
No personnnel is required to operate the machine. The
containers enter, are closed and exit the machine without an
operator.
